Mesclando os estilos classicos de diversas vertentes com a Nova Arte e a multifacetaria cultura Africana e Brasileira, e ate mesmo a industria da musica e marketing (cartazes, discos, posters, estampas etc) temos o trabalho da Ananda Nahu que com 25 anos de idade, vem se destacando no cenario internacional das Artes. Nascida em Juazeiro da Bahia, iniciou sua carreira nas ruas de Salvador da Bahia no ano de 2005, fez primeiramente o cenario urbano seu suporte e formacao, possibilitando com isso uma clareza que seria atualmente seu trabalho. Seus cartazes, stencils e adesivos, que antes viviam em setores bem espalhados e separados pelas ruas, hoje em dia se encontram com tecidos multicoloridos tradicionais do Nordeste Brasileiro, e que por fim se mesclam com a imagem do stencil. Mulheres negras e tipografia tem sido o foco principal de seu trabalho, ambos se complementando. Na de middelbare school studeert Ananda Nahu Grafische Vormgeving en Plastiek aan de kunstacademie in Salvador, Bahia. Tijdens deze periode gaat ze samenwerken met Rodrigo Izolag, waar ze nu mee samenwoont. Haar werk begint de nu zo kenmerkende Street art invloeden te vertonen. Ananda Nahu probeert in haar werk de regionale esthetiek en iconen te verweven met die van de hedendaagse dominante Amerikaanse en Westerse cultuur. Ze zoekt grafische stijlen en iconen uit de Braziliaanse, Jamaicaanse, Afrikaanse en Noord-Amerikaanse zwarte muziek. Over verschillende periodes, maar vooral de jaren zeventig. Haar stijl is een mix tussen grafische en psychedelische elementen.
